Under 65 & In the market for health insurance?

If you are in the market for health insurance for you or your family, then here are some things that you may need to know.

First of all, under the Affordable Care Act laws, people under the age of 26 may stay on their parents’ plans. For some people that is a great option, but for others, there may be a better option.

With the new healthcare laws, pre-existing is no longer a factor. Your premiums are only based on your age, your demographics and whether you smoke or don’t smoke.

In addition, if you have a household of four family members and your gross income is below $70,000 you may qualify for a tax credit. This tax credit is paid each month to the insurance carrier of your choice for your health insurance policy.
